Love’s Travel Stop Opens in Florida With 121 Truck Spaces

Love’s Travel Stops has opened a new location in Florida, adding 121 truck parking spaces along I-10 while continuing efforts to expand parking capacity for professional drivers across the country.

The new Travel Stop is located in Gretna, Florida, at 265 Opportunity Way near I-10 Exit 174. According to the company, the location is strategically positioned between existing stores in Cottondale and Lee, providing another stopping point for drivers traveling through the Florida Panhandle.

New Love’s Travel Stop Adds Truck Parking Capacity

The newly opened facility includes 121 truck parking spaces, eight diesel bays, six showers, laundry facilities, a CAT Scale, and Love’s Fresh Kitchen.

The opening comes as truck parking remains one of the industry’s biggest challenges. Love’s said it has added 991 truck parking spaces nationwide so far in 2026 as part of ongoing expansion efforts.

Company officials said the Gretna location supports freight movement along Interstate 10, a major transportation corridor used by commercial carriers moving goods across the Southeast and Gulf Coast regions.

The travel stop also includes 66 car parking spaces, three RV parking spaces, an RV dump station, a dog park, and self-checkout options.

Additional Amenities Available for Drivers

Professional drivers stopping at the new location will have access to several services designed for over-the-road travel.

Current amenities include:

  • 121 truck parking spaces
  • Eight diesel fueling bays
  • Six showers
  • Laundry facilities
  • CAT Scale
  • Love’s Fresh Kitchen
  • Dog park
  • Self-checkout options

Arby’s and Dunkin’ restaurants are scheduled to open at the location on June 15. Four RV hookups are also expected to open soon.

The facility spans nearly 11,800 square feet and is expected to create 75 jobs in the local community.

Love’s Continues Expansion and Renovation Projects

In addition to opening the new Florida location, Love’s recently completed renovations at two existing locations as part of its Road Ahead modernization plan.

The company celebrated grand reopenings at its country store in Elk City, Oklahoma, and its travel stop in Roscoe, Illinois.

According to Love’s, both locations received updated sales floors and fully renovated restrooms designed to improve customer traffic flow and enhance the overall experience.

The company reported that it has completed upgrades at 18 locations and opened 10 new stores so far in 2026.

EV Charging Infrastructure Included

Love’s also announced that the Gretna location includes space designated for future electric vehicle charging stations.

While chargers have not yet been installed, the company said the site was designed to allow quick deployment through partnerships with local utility providers if customer demand increases.

Community Donations Mark Grand Opening

As part of the grand opening celebration, Love’s announced several donations to local organizations.

The company will donate $2,500 each to Gretna Elementary School and West Gadsden Middle School, along with a $5,000 donation to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

Love’s also announced donations tied to the recent store reopenings, including $5,000 to the Oklahoma Health Foundation and $5,000 to Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.

The Gretna opening marks Love’s 23rd location in Florida and continues the company’s efforts to expand truck parking availability and driver services along key freight corridors throughout the United States.
