More Truck Parking and Driver Services At Love’s Locations Along Key Freight Routes

Love’s Travel Stops is adding more truck parking and driver services in 2026, including a new location in New Mexico and updated travel stops in Indiana and Texas.

The newest Love’s is now open in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, at 224 Dr. Hubble Road, off Interstate 25 at Exit 79. This location adds 63 truck parking spaces and gives commercial truck drivers another place to stop between Love’s existing locations in Las Cruces and Albuquerque.

The company also recently reopened renovated locations in Marion, Indiana, and Encinal, Texas. The Marion location added 74 new truck parking spaces, bringing that site to 221 total truck parking spaces.

So far in 2026, Love’s says it has added 870 truck parking spaces across the country.

New Mexico Love’s Adds Truck Parking Along I-25

The new Truth or Consequences travel stop gives truck drivers a new option on I-25 in New Mexico. For drivers running north or south through the state, that location may help fill a gap between Las Cruces and Albuquerque.

Truck parking remains one of the most common daily challenges for many commercial drivers. More available spaces can help drivers plan rest breaks, manage hours-of-service needs, and avoid wasting time searching for a safe place to stop near the end of a shift.

Love’s said the new location provides free parking for Love’s customers. The company also said the new stop is meant to help address the national truck parking shortage.

While 63 spaces will not solve the larger parking issue, the new location may be useful for drivers who travel I-25 and need a clean, reliable place to fuel, park, shower, eat, or weigh a load.

Driver Amenities at the New Truth or Consequences Location

The new Love’s in Truth or Consequences includes several services aimed at professional drivers.

The location has six diesel bays, four showers, laundry facilities, and a CAT Scale. It also includes food options, including Love’s fresh food items prepared on-site daily and an Arby’s restaurant.

For drivers, those services can make the stop more than just a place to fuel. Showers and laundry are important for drivers who spend days or weeks on the road. A CAT Scale can also help drivers check weight before continuing a route.

The new store is 11,717 square feet and includes 76 car parking spaces, three RV parking spaces, seven RV hookups, a dog park, and self-checkout options.

Love’s said the location adds 77 jobs.

Why This Matters for Truck Drivers

For many drivers, truck parking is not just about convenience. It can affect safety, legal compliance, and daily stress on the road.

When drivers cannot find parking near the end of their available driving time, they may have to keep searching, stop earlier than planned, or park in less ideal places. A new travel stop with dedicated truck parking gives drivers one more option when planning a route through New Mexico.

The Truth or Consequences location may be especially useful because it sits between Las Cruces and Albuquerque. That gives drivers another stopping point along I-25 instead of relying only on larger cities or fewer available stops along the corridor.

The mix of diesel lanes, showers, laundry, food, and a CAT Scale also makes the location more practical for long-haul drivers and owner-operators who need several services in one stop.

Indiana Love’s Expands to 221 Truck Parking Spaces

Love’s also reopened its renovated travel stop in Marion, Indiana, under its Road Ahead Plan.

The Marion location added 74 new truck parking spaces, bringing the site to 221 total truck parking spaces. That is a major increase for drivers who use that location.

The renovation also included a remodeled sales floor, restrooms, and showers, along with an updated look and feel.

For drivers, the added parking is the key detail. A location with more than 200 truck parking spaces can be an important stop for freight movement, overnight parking, fuel planning, and rest breaks.

Updated restrooms and showers also matter for drivers who depend on truck stops as part of daily life on the road.

Texas Location Also Gets Updated

Love’s also reopened its renovated location in Encinal, Texas.

The Encinal updates included a remodeled sales floor, restrooms, and showers. This location’s Subway restaurant was also remodeled.

The source information does not say that new truck parking spaces were added at the Texas location. Because of that, the Texas update is more of a driver-comfort and store-improvement story than a parking expansion story.

Still, updated showers and restrooms can matter to drivers who regularly use that stop.

Love’s Continues 2026 Expansion and Renovation Work

Love’s said it has opened nine new stores and completed updates to 16 locations so far in 2026.

The company also said it has added 870 truck parking spaces across the country so far this year. That number is important for the trucking industry because it shows a larger push to expand parking capacity, not just a single store opening.

Truck parking remains a major issue for commercial drivers, fleets, dispatchers, and safety departments. Each added location can help drivers build safer and more predictable routes, especially in areas where parking options are limited.

Some EV Charging Space Included, But Demand Will Decide

The new Truth or Consequences Love’s also has space set aside for electric vehicle chargers.

Love’s said that space would allow the company to work with local utility companies to install charging stations if customer demand develops.

The source does not say that EV chargers are currently operating at the site. For now, the main driver services at the new location remain truck parking, diesel fueling, showers, laundry, food, and scale access.

Community Donations Announced

Love’s also announced donations tied to the New Mexico opening and the Indiana and Texas reopenings.

For the Truth or Consequences opening, Love’s said it will donate $5,000 to Hot Springs High School and $5,000 to the University of New Mexico Children’s Hospital.

For the Marion reopening, Love’s will donate $5,000 to Riley Children’s Health. For the Encinal reopening, the company will donate $5,000 to CHRISTUS Children’s Hospital.

Those donations are part of the company’s local community efforts, though the main trucking impact remains the added parking and driver services.

More Truck Parking Options for Drivers on the Road

Love’s in New Mexico and the expanded parking in Indiana add practical options for commercial truck drivers.

The New Mexico site gives drivers another stop along I-25 with parking, diesel, showers, laundry, food, and a CAT Scale. The Marion, Indiana, location now offers 221 truck parking spaces after its renovation.

For drivers, the biggest takeaway is simple: Love’s is continuing to add parking capacity and update driver-facing services in 2026. In an industry where safe truck parking remains a daily concern, those added spaces can make route planning a little easier.
