Love’s Continues Expanding Its Travel Stop Network

Love’s Travel Stops has continued its nationwide expansion with the opening of a new travel stop in Texas while completing renovations at existing locations across six states.

The latest expansion adds another stop for professional drivers traveling through South Texas and is part of the company’s broader 2026 growth plan, which includes opening new travel stops, modernizing existing locations, and increasing truck parking across its network.

New Love’s location opens in South Texas

The newest Love’s Travel Stop has opened in Falfurrias, Texas, becoming the company’s 84th location in the state.

Located along U.S. Highway 281, the new facility adds 59 truck parking spaces and offers free truck parking for customers. The location also features diesel fueling lanes, a CAT Scale, showers, laundry facilities, Love’s Fresh Kitchen food options, self-checkout, and a Godfather’s Pizza Express. The travel stop also includes parking for passenger vehicles and RVs.

According to Love’s, the new location is intended to provide another stop for professional drivers traveling through South Texas while helping address the ongoing demand for truck parking.

Renovations Completed at Stores in Six States

Along with the Texas opening, Love’s announced renovations at existing stores in six states:

The company said the remodeled locations received updates designed to improve the customer experience, including refreshed sales floors, renovated restrooms, updated showers, and other improvements depending on the location.

Love’s has continued renovating stores throughout 2026 as part of its Road Ahead Plan, which focuses on updating older locations while expanding its nationwide network.

Expansion Continues Through 2026

The latest opening marks another step in Love’s ongoing growth strategy.

Earlier this year, the company opened new travel stops in states including Texas, Ohio, Florida, Illinois, and New Mexico while also completing renovations at numerous existing locations. Each new location has added truck parking, fueling capacity, and driver amenities along major freight corridors.

Love’s previously announced that its 2026 Road Ahead Plan includes:

  • Opening 20 new travel stops
  • Remodeling 35 existing locations
  • Adding approximately 1,500 truck parking spaces nationwide
  • Continuing investments in truck care and customer amenities

What the New Texas Location Offers Truck Drivers

According to Love’s, the new Falfurrias travel stop includes amenities commonly used by professional drivers, including:

  • 59 truck parking spaces
  • Diesel fueling bays
  • CAT Scale
  • Showers
  • Laundry facilities
  • Love’s Fresh Kitchen
  • Godfather’s Pizza Express
  • Self-checkout options

The company said these additions are intended to support both long-haul truck drivers and other travelers using the U.S. 281 corridor.

Love’s Continues Investing in Truck Parking

Truck parking remains one of the industry’s biggest challenges, and Love’s has continued making additional parking a key part of its expansion strategy.

Each new travel stop opened this year has added dozens of truck parking spaces while many renovated locations have received updated facilities intended to improve the overall experience for professional drivers. The company says these investments are designed to support freight movement while providing additional stopping options across its network.

With the addition of its newest Texas location and renovations completed in six states, Love’s continues moving forward with its planned expansion and modernization efforts throughout 2026.
