The second annual A.J. Soza Memorial Truck Show, held in June, provided an excellent opportunity to meet Soza in person and get an up-close look at his remarkable 2016 Kenworth W900L, the centerpiece of his tribute. This ultra-custom truck, known as “Always Headed Home,” is a sight to behold, often resembling the iconic Optimus Prime despite being powered by a Cummins engine.

The exterior of the Kenworth is a visual masterpiece, with a meticulously designed paint scheme that pays homage to A.J. and Soza’s journey through life. The words “Always headed home” adorn the truck, constantly reminding me of the love and memories that drive Soza forward. The interior is no less impressive, featuring a complete makeover that extends the striking paint scheme to the floor, where epoxy coating ensures it remains pristine and free from scratches.

The story behind this stunning tribute truck is not just about its impressive aesthetics but also about the journey of healing and hope that it represents. Soza’s dedication to the A.J. Soza Foundation and his commitment to supporting children with dyslexia is a testament to his enduring love for his late son and wife.
