Effective October 1st, Navistar rebrands to International Motors, focusing on customer solutions with a new name, logo, and digital tools.
Navistar, Inc. has announced that it will change its name to International Motors, LLC. This new name will start on October 1, 2024. Along with the name change, they are introducing a new logo and look. This change is part of their new focus on better helping customers.
The company is returning to the name “International” to reflect its history. Tobias Glitterstam, Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer, said, “International embodies determination, partnership, and collaboration in meeting every challenge with a solution.” The company is using the new name to show its focus on making customer experiences easier and better.
International Motors will now focus on more than just making trucks and buses. They want to help customers with a full range of services, including parts, maintenance, and financing.
The company will still make trucks and buses, but now they want to do more for customers. They aim to make things simpler by offering more services in one place. This means customers will be able to get everything they need, from parts to financing, without going to different companies.
A new tool called My International will be launched to bring all of these services together. My International will make it easier for customers to handle things like service contracts and fleet management from one easy-to-use place.
This name change is part of a bigger transformation that started in 2021. Over the past few years, International has been improving and adding new things. For example, they launched the International S13® Integrated Powertrain and added new options for electric vehicles. They also brought back their financial services, now called International™ Financial, to help customers with financing options.
International Motors is also rolling out a new logo and visual identity. The new look is inspired by the movement we see on roads every day, from city streets to country highways. The new logo and design will be used across their vehicles, websites, and at their dealerships.
Mathias Carlbaum, President and CEO, said, “The simplified brand structure, distinct visual identity, and clear strategy to more effectively engage with our customers ensure we can lay claim to another 200 years of success and signals a new phase of our company’s positioning.”
