TA Grandview Opens Along I-82 With New Services for Truck Drivers

TravelCenters of America has announced the opening of a new full-service travel center in Grandview, Washington, located along I-82. The new facility is designed to serve professional drivers and travelers moving through central Washington while expanding truck stop services in the Pacific Northwest. The site, known as TA Grandview, opened in March 2026. It is located at Exit 73 off I-82 at 100 Higgins Way. Company officials say the location aims to improve access to fuel, parking, food, and other amenities for drivers traveling through the region.

New TA Grandview Travel Center Opens Along I-82

The new location adds another stop for truck drivers along an important freight corridor in Washington state. I-82 connects major agricultural and distribution areas in the Yakima Valley and serves as a route linking I-90 and I-84.

According to TA, the Grandview site was developed as a full-service travel center offering fuel, food, and rest options for drivers and other travelers. The company stated that the new location reflects its continued effort to expand services along key trucking routes.

TA operates hundreds of travel centers across the U.S and Canada, providing fueling, maintenance, and driver amenities at highway locations nationwide.

Truck Parking and Fueling Options at TA Grandview

One of the key features of the new facility is expanded truck parking. The location includes approximately 100 truck parking spaces for drivers who need overnight parking or rest breaks during long trips.

Fueling services are also available on site. The travel center includes five diesel fueling lanes equipped with diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) as well as 10 gasoline fueling lanes for other vehicles.

For truck drivers traveling through the area, these features may help address ongoing challenges related to parking availability and access to fueling services along major freight corridors.

Driver Amenities and On-Site Services

In addition to parking and fuel, the facility includes several amenities designed for professional drivers.

The location offers:

  • Shower facilities
  • Laundry services
  • A driver’s lounge
  • A truck wash
  • A pet area for drivers traveling with animals

TA also indicated that truck service operations are expected to be added at the location in the future.

These types of services are commonly offered at large travel centers to support drivers who spend extended time on the road.

Dining Options Available at the Travel Center

Multiple dining options are available at the TA Grandview location. According to the company, restaurants at the site include:

  • Applebee’s
  • IHOP
  • Scratch Chicken
  • Spice Route Indian Restaurant
  • Tacos Guadalajara

The travel center also includes an on-site deli and a retail store that sells snacks, beverages, and travel merchandise.

Food services at truck stops are often considered an important factor for drivers who rely on highway travel centers for meals during long-haul trips.

Expansion of Truck Services in the Pacific Northwest

The opening of TA Grandview represents an expansion of TravelCenters of America’s network in the Pacific Northwest. Company officials stated that the site is intended to increase access to “high-quality services across key regional corridors.”

Truck stops and travel centers often play a role in supporting freight movement by providing parking, rest facilities, fuel access, and maintenance services for truck drivers.

As freight traffic continues to move through Washington state’s agricultural and distribution routes, new truck stop locations like the Grandview facility may provide additional infrastructure for drivers traveling along Interstate 82.
