TA Expands Texas Network With Two New Locations
TA truck stops expand in Texas with new locations in Vernon and Belton, adding truck parking, fuel lanes, and driver amenities along key freight routes.
TA Opens Two New Truck Stops in Texas
TravelCenters of America has announced the opening of two new locations in Texas, expanding its network of services for truck drivers and travelers. The new sites—TA Vernon and TA Express Belton—add fuel access, parking, and driver-focused amenities along key highway routes in the state.
The company, which is part of BP, continues to grow its footprint across Texas as demand for reliable truck stops remains strong.
TA Vernon, TX Adds Parking and Full-Service Amenities
The new Vernon location is positioned along US Highway 287 at 2817 US HWY 287 W in Vernon, Texas. This route serves as a key corridor for freight movement across North Texas.
The site includes seven diesel fueling lanes equipped with diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) and 18 gasoline lanes. For drivers looking for parking, the location offers 76 truck parking spaces.
In addition, the Vernon site provides a full range of driver amenities. These include a CAT scale, truck service options, showers, laundry facilities, a driver’s lounge, and a designated pet area.
Food and retail options are also available on-site. Dining choices include Vernon BBQ, Popeyes, and Starbucks, along with a bakery, deli, and a retail store offering snacks, beverages, and merchandise.
TA Express Belton, TX Expands I-35 Access
The second location is located off Interstate 35 at Exit 289A, at 8101 S IH 35 Service Road in Belton, Texas. I-35 is one of the busiest freight corridors in the country, making this location a strategic addition for drivers moving through Central Texas.
This site features six diesel lanes with DEF and 18 gasoline lanes. Parking capacity includes 55 truck parking spaces, providing additional options in a high-traffic area where parking demand is often tight.
Amenities at the Belton location include a CAT scale, showers, laundry facilities, and a driver’s lounge.
Dining options at Belton include Pizza Hut Express, Champs Chicken, and Ranch Eats. The location also includes a deli and a retail store with standard travel stop offerings.
Expansion Reflects Ongoing Demand for Truck Stops
The addition of these two locations highlights continued investment in truck stop infrastructure, particularly in Texas. The state remains a major hub for freight activity, with high volumes of truck traffic moving through regional and interstate routes.
New locations aim to address ongoing challenges such as limited truck parking and access to essential services. By adding more spaces, fuel lanes, and amenities, operators are working to improve conditions for drivers on the road.
More Stops Added Across Key Freight Routes
With these openings, TravelCenters of America continues to expand its presence in key freight corridors. The company has focused on adding locations that provide consistent services, including fueling, food options, and rest facilities.
As freight volumes shift and trucking routes remain active across Texas, additional truck stops are expected to play a role in supporting daily operations for drivers.
The two new Texas locations are now open and available for use, adding more options for drivers traveling through both North and Central parts of the state.
