Outpost expands truck parking with four new yards in key U.S. freight hubs, adding over 1,700 spaces to meet the growing demand for secure truck parking.
A leader in truck parking and storage, Outpost, has added four new locations to its growing network. These new yards are in Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, The Inland Empire, and Laredo, Texas. They provide nearly 60 acres of outdoor storage and more than 1,700 parking spots for semi-trucks and heavy-duty vehicles. This expansion helps truckers and fleets access parking in some of the busiest freight routes in the country.
The four new locations are spread across important freight hubs in the U.S., giving truckers more options for safe and secure parking.
Chicago (West Dundee, IL)
The Chicago location is the largest of the four new sites. It’s a 30-acre lot at 70 Airport Road in West Dundee, Illinois, with over 1,000 parking spaces for large trucks and vehicles. This yard increases the total truck parking in Illinois by nearly 9%. It will open in October, and truckers can already book spaces online.
Fort Lauderdale (Coral Springs, FL)
Outpost’s new 14-acre yard in Fort Lauderdale, located at 12754 Wiles Road in Coral Springs, is the first in Florida. It has 370 parking spots and will help truckers in the Southeast U.S., as well as those heading to Latin America and the Atlantic coast. Its location near I-95 makes it a convenient spot for trucks traveling in and out of the busy Tri-County area.
Inland Empire (Fontana, CA)
The 4.5-acre yard in Fontana, California, provides nearly 100 parking spaces. It is close to major cities like Los Angeles, San Diego, and Las Vegas, making it ideal for both local and long-distance freight. This yard offers easy access to Southern California and the Southwest, and spaces are available for booking online.
Laredo (Laredo, TX)
The 11-acre Laredo yard at 18702 Metropolitan Road includes 320 parking spaces. It is located near the World Trade Bridge, one of the busiest land ports for cross-border trade between the U.S. and Mexico. This yard is also conveniently located along the I-35 highway, making it a good spot for truckers involved in international shipping.
Truck parking has become a serious issue for truckers across the country. There are often not enough safe and secure places for drivers to park, especially in areas with high freight traffic. Outpost’s new locations aim to solve this problem by offering more parking options in busy freight areas.
As Outpost co-founder and CEO Trent Cameron explains,
“As our network continues to expand, motor carriers increasingly look to Outpost as a strategic partner for positioning their fleets, improving asset visibility, and optimizing their real estate investments. Our four new properties strengthen our ability to help these fleets operate more efficiently in critical freight corridors across the U.S.”
Outpost’s success comes from its use of both advanced technology and experienced management. The company is investing $500 million into expanding its truck yard network. This growth helps truckers and fleets make the most of their parking by offering easy access to secure locations. Outpost also makes it simple for fleets to manage parking through its online booking system and consistent billing.
With over 20 locations and 11,000 parking spaces across the U.S., Outpost is becoming a key player in the truck parking industry. The company is also on the lookout for more locations to convert into truck yards, encouraging real estate owners to reach out to their acquisitions team.
Outpost is a network of truck parking yards designed to help trucking fleets and owner-operators with their parking needs. With secure parking spaces and advanced technology, Outpost gives truckers the flexibility they need without the burden of large capital investments.
