Truck Parking Club has expanded to over 3,000 locations across 49 states, offering on-demand parking solutions to address the national truck parking shortage.

Truck Parking Club Expands Fleet Parking Network

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. Truck Parking Club announced that its network has grown to more than 3,000 property locations across 49 states, with over 51,000 reservable truck parking spaces. The company says this expansion helps fleets and drivers find parking faster through its on-demand digital platform.

The company reached the 3,000-location mark after adding 1,000 new sites in just four months, up from 2,000 locations earlier this year.

 Addressesing Ongoing Parking Shortage

Truck Parking Club says the U.S. faces a national shortage of about 1.7 million truck parking spaces. The company estimates that this lack of parking costs the trucking industry more than $100 billion each year.

Instead of building new facilities, the Club connects drivers and fleets to existing private properties that have unused space. These may include truck yards, repair shops, CDL schools, and real estate properties that can safely accommodate trucks.

How the Truck Parking Club Works

According to the company, the platform allows property owners to list available spaces that can be reserved by truck drivers or fleets. These spaces are bookable by the hour, day, week, or month, offering flexibility for different needs.

The platform manages reservations, payments, and customer service. Property owners can reportedly activate new listings within days and without upfront costs. TPC states that this system helps property owners earn extra income while providing more parking options to drivers.

Truck Parking Club Benefits for Fleets and Drivers

Truck Parking Club highlights several benefits for both fleets and individual truck drivers. Fleets can also gain flexible parking close to pickup and delivery points, reduce liability by avoiding highway ramp parking, and manage all billing in one place.

For drivers and owner-operators, the service offers safer overnight parking and easier access to spots near key freight corridors. It can also reduce the time spent searching for a place to park, improving rest time and safety.

Truck Parking Club’s Growth and Industry Impact

While the 51,000 parking spaces available through Truck Parking Club represent only a small fraction of the estimated national shortfall, the company’s rapid growth shows how technology may help ease the problem.

By using existing private lots instead of new construction, the TP Club aims to make parking more available without adding infrastructure costs. However, its figures and cost estimates are based on company data and have not been independently verified.

Truck Parking Club Looks Ahead

Truck Parking Club continues to expand its reach and add more partners across the country. The company says its next goal is to grow access even further and strengthen relationships with fleets.

As parking remains one of the biggest challenges for truck drivers, the company’s expansion could play a larger role in shaping the future of truck parking availability in the U.S.
