Truck Parking Club Gains Investment from CAT Scale Company to Expand Parking Network

New Partnership Focused on Growing CMV Parking Options

Truck Parking Club has received a new investment from CAT Scale Company. CAT Scale is widely known for providing truck weighing services across North America. This investment is meant to help Truck Parking Club expand its network of parking locations. The goal is to address the ongoing shortage of truck parking across the country.

CAT Scale has been in business since 1977. The company now operates more than 2,275 locations across the United States and Canada. Through this new partnership, CAT Scale brings nearly 50 years of industry experience to Truck Parking Club. This experience will help the company grow its parking network. The company has set a goal to reach over 10,000 parking locations by the end of 2026.

The announcement was made during the Walcott Truckers Jamboree. This event takes place at the Iowa 80 Truckstop. It is one of the largest truck stops in the country and hosts one of the top trucking events each year.

Truck Parking Club Continues Rapid Parking Growth

Truck Parking Club has recently grown its network at a fast pace. Over the past six months, the company has doubled its network to 2,262 locations. These parking locations come from a wide range of businesses. They include trucking companies, truck repair shops, CDL schools, trailer leasing companies, and others with available space for parking.

Leaders from both companies said this partnership is about helping truck drivers. Truck Parking Club wants to make it easier for drivers to find safe, legal parking. Studies show that drivers spend an average of 56 minutes searching for parking each day. Truck Parking Club’s platform is designed to reduce that search time. Their goal is to help drivers find parking in 10 minutes or less. The company offers reservable parking through its website and mobile app.

Working Together to Help Truck Drivers

Delia Moon Meier, Senior Vice President at CAT Scale, said the investment is part of CAT Scale’s effort to help truck drivers. “After working years to add truck parking at our own truckstops, working with NATSO and personally lobbying in Washington for help, we see Truck Parking Club as the best solution and more importantly, it is available today,” she said.

Evan Shelley, CEO of Truck Parking Club, said CAT Scale’s experience will help the company grow. “Their knowledge and experience will be invaluable as we continue building our network toward our goal of 10,000+ property member locations,” Shelley said.

Both companies share a common goal. They want to support truck drivers and the trucking industry. By working together, they aim to expand access to reliable parking solutions for truck drivers.
