Love’s Travel Stops Announces Expansion and Upgrades for 2025

Love’s Travel Stops has shared its plans for 2025. The company aims to expand services and improve customer experience across its locations. The plans include building new stores, remodeling existing ones, and introducing new food and service options.

New and Updated Locations

Love’s plans to grow its network with 20 new stores in 2025. The company will also update 50 existing locations under its Strategic Remodel Initiative (SRI). This initiative started in 2022 and focuses on keeping locations modern and fresh.

As part of the SRI, Love’s will remodel the Stroud, Oklahoma turnpike location. This is the first of several turnpike locations acquired in 2023 to undergo renovations. By 2035, more than half of Love’s 655 locations will be newly built or remodeled.

Expanded Food and Drink Options at Love’s

Love’s is expanding its Fresh Kitchen program. A new Culinary Innovation Center in Oklahoma City will focus on developing fresh food options. These options include tacos, salads, sandwiches, and snack trays.

In addition to fresh foods, Love’s will introduce new branded items. These include fresh juices, candy, and flavored popcorn.

Love’s operates a large number of quick-service restaurants. The company plans to open its 1,000th location this year. To improve service, Love’s is adding an “order ahead” feature to its mobile app. This feature will be available at several locations, including more than 100 Arby’s.

Technology is also improving service at Love’s restaurants. Digital monitors track performance metrics in real-time. These include greeting times, order processing, and food handoff speeds. In 2024, this system helped reduce wait times by an average of 14 seconds.

More Amenities for RV and EV Travelers

Love’s will expand its services for RV customers. The company plans to add 83 hookups across 17 locations in 2025. This expansion will bring the total number of Love’s locations with RV amenities to over 100.

Customers can reserve RV spaces, check in, and manage utilities through the Love’s Connect app. This feature provides a convenient way for travelers to plan their stops.

Love’s is also adding more EV charging stations. The company received $83 million in National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) grants in 2024. Using these funds, Love’s will start building EV chargers in eight states. These states include Alabama, Colorado, Illinois, and Pennsylvania.

Love’s Support for Truck Drivers

Love’s will add 1,000 new truck parking spaces in 2025. This will bring the total number of spaces to over 50,000 across the country. The company aims to help address the national truck parking shortage.

Love’s will also increase its maintenance services. In 2025, the company will add 12 new maintenance bays and six emergency roadside vehicles. These additions will provide more support for truck drivers on the road.

Love’s Workforce Growth and Development

Love’s is also expanding its hiring efforts in 2025. The company plans to increase veteran hiring by 10%. A new program will also be launched to support military spouses.

The “Fuel Your Growth with Love’s” program offers free education opportunities. Employees can pursue a GED or even an advanced degree through the program.

Through these efforts, Love’s Travel Stops aims to provide better services and more opportunities for its customers and employees in 2025.
