Saia Inc. is expanding its service in the Western United States by opening six new terminals in August 2024. These new locations are in Wyoming, Montana, and South Dakota. The expansion is part of a plan to meet increasing demand and provide better service in these areas.
The new terminals are located in Cheyenne and Casper, Wyoming; Billings and Butte, Montana; and Rapid City and Watertown, South Dakota. This move marks Saia’s first presence in Wyoming, which is an important step in their growth.
Ray Ramu, the company’s Executive VP and Chief Customer Officer, shared that these new terminals are key to improving service for customers.
These new locations will help local economies by creating jobs and improving access to Saia’s LTL services. They have also been growing in other parts of the country, with new terminals recently opened in states like California, Iowa, and Texas. The company plans to open up to 21 new terminals by the end of the year.
Saia’s continued growth shows their commitment to providing excellent service and supporting their customers across the U.S.
